Journalist Killed in Pakistan

Journalists For International Peace strongly condemned the brutal murderof Senior journalist of Geo News, Malik Mumtaz who was martyred in North Waziristan MerranShah. Mumtaz was returning home to Miranshah after offering condolences from a nearby village when unknown assailants opened fire on his car, killing him on the spot near Chashma bridge. His body has been shifted to a local hospital for post mortem. It is unfortunate that hundreds of journalists are brutally murdered , but not even a single murderer has been arrested . UNESCO declared pakistan as the most dangerous country for the journalists for their professional work - May Allah rest the soul of Malik Mumtaz in peace. Aameen
