Kathmandu - The city that turned into pile of rubble

Almost three days after devastating earthquake hit Nepal, rescuers are still trying to extricate bodies from the rubble. More than 3,700 people have been killed and at least 6,000 others injured in the worst natural disaster to have hit the Himalayan nation in over 80 years. Strings of aftershocks have continued to jolt people who have been sleeping in parks in temporary shelters. Overwhelmed authorities were trying to cope with a shortage of drinking water and food, as well as the threat of disease. There were reports of water and vegetables being sold at inflated prices.
