INDIA LONG RANGE MISSILE TEST

                        According to media news India successfully tested  its long range nuclear capable  missile Agni. It took several years and total cost of missile experiment is more than  five hundred million US dollars. Missile can carry nuclear war heads and its  range is more than five thousand miles. Now first time India is capable to strike all Chinese major cities. Recent Indian long range missile experiment is again showing double standard of world community. Only days ago world powers making foul cry after North Korea   failed missile test.  At the time when tension is already high among three close neighbors Pakistan, China and India, recent long range nuclear capable missile test  will further fuel arm race in the region. China recent test of  new stealth jet fighter  already raised fears in the West, China is also growing its sea, and air powers with new and more advance technology.  

To counter China threat  India has already  announced a 17% raise in its defense expenditure  previous year. Pakistan has also increased the country's Military budget  12 percent this year.  India and Pakistan two nuclear rivals still not yet sign NPT. Unfortunately arm race and heavy war expenditures are  going on  in the region where half of population is living below poverty line. Most of population is facing worst energy and water crises and due to raising price of basic commodities poor people  find it hard to provide daily necessities of lives to their families.
