26 Palestinian prisoners, most with life sentences, and who have spent at least 19 years of prison, has been released by the israelis early at dawn. 21 among those headed to the West Bank and the 5 others to the Gaza strip. This is the second group that has been released after resuming the negotiations with the israelis and are part of an exchange deal according to which 104 Palestinian prisoners incarcerated before Oslo will be released. There are still thousands of prisoners waiting in the israeli jails. The released prisoners belong to Fateh, Hamas, and FPLP.
